Dynamic Duos # 68

This weeks Dynamic Duos challenge is  Perfect Plum & Your Choice.  I don't have Perfect Plum, so I'm using a brand new ink from Gina K. Designs called Wild Lilac.  I have paired it with Red Hot.  I love this color combination.  I used the Cuttlebug folder Honeycomb and embossed a piece of white cardstock.  I attached it to a piece of Red Hot cardstock and added a piece of red & white polka dot ribbon.  This was attached to a Wild Lilac card base.  I used a Spellbinders Hexagon dies on a piece of Red Hot cardstock and embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dot embossing folder.  I sponged Wild Lilac ink onto a piece of white cardstock and stamped two of the line flower stamps from the Verve Great Friend set.  I sponged the ink because I wanted more of a mottled look on the flowers.  I then used a script stamp from GKD  Winter Wonderland across the flowers and attached them to the red hexagon using 1/4" pop dots.  I added purple and red pearls to the flower center, and a red & white polka dot bow.  The greeting was stamped on white cardstock using the Spellbinders Ribbon Banners dies and sponged with Red Hot ink.  I attached this to a piece of Wild Lilac cardstock and fussy cut around the die shape.
