Simple Things

The 4th was a very quiet and relaxing day for us.
I was able to get into my craft room
and put together two cards.

I am really enjoying the new stamps from The Greetery's newest release.
I, also, love that Betsy is only releasing every other month.
It gives me more time to enjoy and use my stamps & dies.

When I received my new goodies,
I sat down and stamped out lots of images.
This has worked out well for me.
I have a lot of fun things ready to go.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Summer Birthdays

For the last few days I have been making some fun images
from the newest The Greetery release.
Today I was able to turn them into two cards.

The Just Mason Around set is a three step process
to make these lovely jars.
I used inks in shades of pink and aqua.
The Oopsie Daisy set has fun flowers that I turned into bright daisies.
The Robin and Wren set has a small and a large version of a Robin and a Wren.
I made my Wren pink and my Robin yellow.
The Lemon Blossom set has two sizes of lemons.
I made one a lime, a cute lemon slice
and some beautiful blossoms.

Pretty in Pink

I pulled out an oldie but a goodie from PTI called Flower Favorites.
I had to have this set and I think this is the third time I have used it.

The ink is all Distress Oxides.
They are so much fun to stamp with and the colors are beautiful!

You're Pandastic!

My nephew's little boy has a birthday coming up,
and I thought this sweet panda would fit the bill.

I used a new set from The Greetery called Katie's Cuties Panda.
It is paired with BotaniCuts Bamboo, also, from The Greetery.

I sponged the background with Distress Oxide inks in
Abandoned Coral and Candied Apple.
I love the rich color and it makes that cute Panda
and the Bamboo leaves stand out.

Hello, my friend

I bought a new watercolor set, Prima Pastel Dreams.
The colors really are dreamy!

The stamp set is from Gina K. Designs and is called Dazzling Dahlia.
I used the outline stamp and white embossed it.
Then I went to work with my watercolors.

The background stamp is also from GKD and is called Background Gauze.
It is gorgeous stamped with Applemint ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Anniversary in Foil

I got the idea for this card  from one of Gina's foil videos.
She did her foiling tone on tone, and
I decided to do mine on white.

The pretty panel is a stencil from Tim Holtz called Lace Layering Stencil.
I used Deco Transfer Gel and then foiled with
GKD Turquoise Foil.
The sentiment is from the Wedding & Anniversary Foil Mates set
and is, also, foiled with Turquoise Sea foil.
I used a GKD Double Stitched Square die to cut out the sentiment.

I was going to layer the sentiment using the Single Stitched Square die,
but when I opened the package I found another Double Stitched die.
I made a call to GKD Customer Service and they are sending me the correct die.
In face, I received the ship notice this afternoon.
Gina K. Designs is a first rate company!

Here are some other panels I made using stencils from Tim Holtz.
I can't wait to make these into cards and play with some more foil.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Your kind comments always make my day!
