Hello, my friend

I bought a new watercolor set, Prima Pastel Dreams.
The colors really are dreamy!

The stamp set is from Gina K. Designs and is called Dazzling Dahlia.
I used the outline stamp and white embossed it.
Then I went to work with my watercolors.

The background stamp is also from GKD and is called Background Gauze.
It is gorgeous stamped with Applemint ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Your kind comments are always appreciated.

Anniversary in Foil

I got the idea for this card  from one of Gina's foil videos.
She did her foiling tone on tone, and
I decided to do mine on white.

The pretty panel is a stencil from Tim Holtz called Lace Layering Stencil.
I used Deco Transfer Gel and then foiled with
GKD Turquoise Foil.
The sentiment is from the Wedding & Anniversary Foil Mates set
and is, also, foiled with Turquoise Sea foil.
I used a GKD Double Stitched Square die to cut out the sentiment.

I was going to layer the sentiment using the Single Stitched Square die,
but when I opened the package I found another Double Stitched die.
I made a call to GKD Customer Service and they are sending me the correct die.
In face, I received the ship notice this afternoon.
Gina K. Designs is a first rate company!

Here are some other panels I made using stencils from Tim Holtz.
I can't wait to make these into cards and play with some more foil.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Your kind comments always make my day!

Hello Sunshine

I've got sunshine on a cloudy day, and
when it's cold outside I've got the month of May.
We've had so much rain lately, we may have to buy a boat.
So, I decided to go sunshiny in my craft room.
Aren't sunflowers the happiest of flowers!

I decided to play with some of my pretty foils and
the Gina K. Designs Graphic Sunflower stamp set.

It is very hard to photograph foil.
There is a glare on the flower centers on the first card, and I had to turn
the bottom card more than usual to get it to photograph
without dark blotches on the background.
The background on the second card is the negative foil from the first card.
I used every little bit of that gorgeous Wild Dandelion foil.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Welcome Little One

Our niece just had a  beautiful baby, so I wanted something very girly.

I love the Shape Up Series Onesie die!
It can be decorated any way that you can imagine.
I paired it with the MIM Mini Wee Folks stamp set.
The patterned paper I used for the onesie came from that kit.

Love You to the Moon and Back

This is a set that I had on my Wish List forever,
because it was always out of stock.

I had some time to play this afternoon,
and this is what I came up with.
I am on a Distress Oxide kick.
All of the coloring was done with them.

Think of You

This week Betsy showed us how to use our Distress Oxides in a new way.

We all know that Distress Oxides are wonderful for blended backgrounds, but
now we can sponge the color on our stamps and make beautiful colored flowers.
The flowers I'm using are from The Greetery and are called Fleur Impressions.
Aren't they gorgeous!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Mother's Day

My husband had to go into the hospital last night
for a sleep study, and I was home all by myself.
I crafted for hours and here is what I created.

The stamps and dies I used are all from Betsy Veldman's new company,
Betsy always comes up with something new and exciting.
I am thrilled with everything I bought from her first release.
I used the Large Terrarium die and the gorgeous flowers
After I finished the terrarium and flowers,
I felt like I needed some texture in the background.
I used a Cuttlebug EF called Circular Grid.
The card stock is a neutral because I didn't want
the background to compete with the flower colors.
The ink colors are all Gina K. Designs.

I am in love with this tree.
The stamp set is called Fir and Foliage No. 1.
The large tree is a four step process and
the small tree is a three step process.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Your kind comments are always appreciated.
