Have a Fairy Happy Birthday

This little set from My Favorite Things is called Fairy Happy.
I was wanting something very girlie for my sweet granddaughter's birthday
and came across this set in my never before used stuff pile.

I decided on two Distress Oxide colors...Picked Raspberry
and Shaded Lilac for the background.
The colors are so rich and vibrant.
The Stitched Circle Frame helped to ground
the fairies and the sentiment
and I was able to use some of the other
fun elements in the stamp set to decorate the circle.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Let the Adventure Begin

My husband has a friend who is retiring in May, and he loves to camp.
This old set from Flourishes fit the bill.

I used products from four different companies on this card.
I love when that happens! lol
The camping trailer is a set called S'more Fun from Flourishes.
The trees are from The Northwoods, a Gina K. Designs set.
The Sentiment and chair are from the PTI set Petite Places Happy Camper, and
I used the Radiant Sun die and Cloud stencil from My Favorite Things.

A Bevy of Bunnies

I bought the Treat Bag Topper Kit from My Favorite Things
to use for my grandkids Easter treats.
They had a sweet bunny die that I wanted, but it was out of stock,
so I used the Huggable Bunny from PTI.

The kit contained beautiful colored card stock
and the candy bags.

I love their polka dot ears and tummies.

Happy Easter!

Think of You

I was finally able to get into my craft room today.  A couple of weeks ago, I was bitten on the hand by a big dog.  I have been babying it and the nine stitches I had to have.  Stitches are out now and I'm back in business.

A while ago I watched a Gina K. video on alcohol inks and backgrounds.  This is one of mine.  I used Tim Holtz Purple Twilight and Amethyst alcohol inks.  I love the way it came out.  The stamps are from the Gina K. Designs Dazzling Dahlia set.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Your kind comments are always appreciated.

This card is for a young lady named Emma.
Emma has been battling a brain tumor for quite a while now

Thank you

I watched a video by Arjito Sepaha Singh on no line coloring using colored pencils. Click on her name for a link to her blog.  She is AMAZING!  She makes everything look so easy.  I worked for over an hour trying to do this technique and guess what?  I can't do it.  I've come to the conclusion that I should only buy stamps that are one or two step stamping.

I pulled out the Layered Daisies stamp set from Gina K. Designs, (It's a two step process) and some of the new colors from the most recent release.  I used Barely There for the card base.  The big daisy was stamped first with Barely There and then by Peach Bellini.  The center is Chocolate Truffle.  The second daisy was stamped with Peach Bellini and then Tomato Soup.  The third daisy was stamped second generation stamping with Peach Bellini and then Tomato Soup.  I, also, did some second generation stamping using Fresh Asparagus and the leaves.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Your kind comments are always appreciated.
