Dynamic Duos #71
This weeks Dynamic Duos challenge is to use Crumb Cake & Basic Black with an option of wet embossing. I have done a split negative card with black, Kraft & white. I, also, used black & white embossing powder on the butterfly. I started with a Kraft card base of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". I scored a line on each end at 2 1/8". I cut a piece of white cardstock and a piece of black cardstock 2" by 5 1/4" and put them through my Cuttlebug using the Love Triangle embossing folder. These panels were attached to the card base. I stamped the butterfly two times. Once on white paper and embossed with black embossing powder and once on black paper and embossed with white embossing powder. I cut them in half and formed one butterfly. I used Spellbinders Labels Sixteen on the butterfly, and a size larger on a piece of Kraft cardstock. These pieces were attached, and the greeting was stamped. I used 1/4" pop dots to attach the left side of the butterfly to the white card base panel. A piece of Doodle Twine and a button was used to secure the card.
