Seize the Birthday - Chevrons



I'm so glad you could join me today for the next Seize the Birthday Challenge.  This week we have a topping of Chevrons.  Of course, if you don't want to do chevrons it's always "Anything Goes."


I used a background stamp from Hero Arts called Vertical Arrows.  There is a little chevron pattern on it.  I cut the strips apart and inked each end with a different Distress Ink.  Then I decided to weave them to put on my card front.  The stars are from Spellbinders Stars Five dies.  The sentiment and number is from Gina K. Designs Simple Numbers stamp set.

    Wow, Sharyn, you did a fantastic job with those chevrons. I thought it was DSP. Love how you did the paper weaving also. Great job.
