I am so excited to be a part of the June Release and the Inspiration Blog Hop as a Guest Designer. It has been an amazing week, and one I will certainly never forget! I seem to be at the end of the line in the links, so if you are just now joining the hop, you might want to start at the beginning so you don't miss any of the beautiful cards. Here we go:
First up is Melanie Meunchinger's Fabulous Frame
I used the Fabulous Frame set and the Stately Flowers 5 (for the sentiment). The patterned paper is from the Casual Friday paper pack. I added a Warm Cocoa ribbon and button and a little bit of jute. I used an xacto knife to slit a small section of the oval frame to feed the ribbon through. The butterflies were colored with Copic markers B05, E57, Y21, YR07.
I stamped the Fabulous Frame onto a woven piece of paper from the Casual Friday patterned paper pack. I cut the inside of the oval out. I used a Spellbinders Classic Oval die to cut the center oval and stamped it with a sentiment from the Stately Flowers 2 stamp set. I colored the flowers and the frame with Copic markers E35, G24, YG67, R01, R12, R35, R46, Y21. I attached it to a Red Hot card base and added some MME enamel dots.
Next up is Debbie Corbari's Let's Talk
I paired one of the speech bubbles from the Let's Talk set with my favorite diva, Scooter Diva. I paper pieced the scooter with some gingham paper from the Paper Studio. I used Copic markers 100, B39, E00, E57, G43, R20, R29, W6 & Y21. I added some GKD yellow & white gingham ribbon and a button from my stash.
I paired the Day at the Park Diva with a cloud speech bubble from the Let's Talk set. She seemed to be sitting under the clouds and day dreaming. The embossing folder is from Darice and is called Cloudy Sky. I colored my diva with Copic markers B26, E00, R20, R27, Y17 & YR07. I popped her up with 1/4" pop dots on a piece of Sweet Corn CS that I cut with a Lil' Inkers Stitched Circle die. I added a GKD red and white gingham ribbon.
I made my own background with all of the sentiments from the Let's Talk set using several different GKD ink colors. I added a strip of gingham paper from the Summer Brights patterned paper pack. The green circle was cut using a Lil' Inkers Stitched Circle die, and I popped up the speech bubble with the "thinking of you" sentiment using 1/4" pop dots. I added some red hot hearts using Verve's Heart Quartet die. The twine is from Doodlebug.
I stamped four speech bubbles this time and mounted them on red hot card stock that had been cut using Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Ovals dies. The gingham paper is from the Casual Friday patterned paper pack. I added a white border using Martha Stewart's Doily Lace border punch and a GKD red ribbon.
Thanks so much for coming by to look at my cards! Remember to leave a comment and you may be chosen to receive a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products.
