Here's my card
When my Dad was living, he used to love to make homemade ice cream when we had a BBQ. My Mom would whip up a wonderful concoction to put in our old wooden ice cream freezer, and then my Dad would add ice and rock salt and would hand-crank until he had this creamy delight. Sometimes it was plain vanilla and other times it would be fresh strawberry or fresh peach. (His favorite, and mine too.) So, when I picked this photo I knew I would have to put ice cream on my card. I used a stamp set from Flourishes called Pinwheels & Popsicles. So tell me, do those of you from other countries do BBQ or backyard cookouts or is this just an American tradition?
The recipe:
Flourishes Pinwheels & Popsicles
Verve Pennant Trim
Spellbinders A2 Modern Stationary
Doodlebug Twine
Fiskars Crimper
Doodlebug Sprinkles
