Seize the Birthday - Stars or Stripes

It's time for another two week challenge at Seize the Birthday where it is always "Anything Goes" as long as it's birthday, but this time we have a topping of Stars or Stripes.  The toppings are always an option.

Here's my card

I decided to make a very quick and easy card using only two pieces of paper, some ink and some enamel dots.  The stamps I used are all from Gina K. Designs.  The first one is a frame stamp called Inspiration Mosaic.  This is a great stamp for quick and easy cards.....just fill in the boxes!  I had to do some masking around the boxes when I stamped, but it went very fast.  The 2nd stamp set is called Lots of Lines.  The striped star was a perfect choice for this card and fulfilled both requirements of the option on this challenge. I have used this stamp a lot lately, and I love it!  There is a beautiful Happy Birthday sentiment with this set, but it was too large for the box I wanted to put it in, so I used one from the 3rd set, Follow Your Dreams. This one was perfect for the size I needed.  When I cut the frame stamp out, I left a tiny border around it that I colored with a black Copic marker.  It gives the illusion of another layer.  I taped this panel to a red hot card base, added some enamel dots, and it was good to go.  I think it will be a great masculine card!
