Seize the Birthday - Washi Tape

This time at Seize the Birthday we have a topping of Washi Tape.  Of course,  it is always "Anything Goes" if you don't want to do the Washi Tape.  The topping is optional.

Here's my card

I have a very limited supply of Washi Tape because I don't use it very often, but these colors seemed to work well together.  I had a lot of fun playing with this card, and I think I need to go shopping and buy some more washi tape.  lol  I started by placing strips of tape on a piece of white card stock and then cut the three birthday die cuts.  I decided I wanted to do the balloons the same way.  The embossing folder is from Cuttlebug and is called Dominos.  I've had it for quite some time and never used it before.  It seemed to fit the happy, party theme of this card.  I added the white embossed sentiment on a stitched sentiment flag along with an enamel dot.

Please visit the Seize the Birthday blog to see the beautiful cards the rest of the team have made this week.  I hope you will be inspired and play along with us.  We would love to see what you create.
