I made this card for the Peep of the Week Challenge over at Power Poppy. I wanted something that would make me completely forget about our frigid weather, so I pulled out this beautiful stamp from Power Poppy called Countryside Bouquet. I colored it with Copic markers in shades of peach and lt. blue. The gingham background is a stencil from Simon Says Stamps called Gingham Stencil. I used Dap Lightweight Spackle that had been tinted with Innocent Pink and Sweet Mango ink. I added a soft blue patterned paper, a paper doily that I split in half, and a little bow that I tinted with a blush copic marker. Thanks so much for coming by to look! I hope I have brought a little bit of Spring into your life today. lol

ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely gorgeous my dear! Love those flowers! I said a prayer for you and Judy for God to make you both well! Thanks for brightening my day with your creation! Hope you feel better soon! Warm hugs! Have a Blessed day!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the prayers, Angie! You are so sweet. Sharyn, this card is just stunning!!! I can't stop looking at it! And that peach colored spackle is GORGEOUS!!! The two colors of ink together are so pretty - GENIUS!!! Did you use reinkers or the ink pads themselves. I have never tried tinting embossing paste with GKD inks.
