Seize the Birthday - Hearts and/or Arrows

This time at Seize the Birthday our topping is Hearts and/or Arrows.  Of course, it's always "Anything Goes" if you don't want to do the topping.  Just  make sure that you make it for a birthday.

Here's my card

I started out by sponging an Ombre effect on white card stock using Innocent Pink, Bubblegum Pink, Passionate Pink and Red Hot inks.  I used a cover plate of hearts to cut out the hearts.  I placed this panel over a white card base and marked random places to stamp patterned hearts.  I attached some of the ombre hearts back onto the panel.  I used a stitched on the diagonal die cut to ground the sentiment and sequins.  Thanks for coming by to look.

Please visit the Seize the Birthday blog to see the wonderful cards the rest of the team have made this week.  I hope you will be inspired and come join in the fun!

  3. Oh, you stamped the hearts. At first, I thoguth that you used papers, but then read the recipe. The effect is wonderful, especially with the bold sentiment. Great card, again!
