Seize the Birthday - Tall & Skinny

This time at Seize the Birthday our topping is Tall & Skinny.  Of course, if you don't want to do the topping, it's always "Anything Goes" as long as it's for a birthday.

Here's my card

I don't know why the Tall & Skinny cards are so hard for me, but they are always a challenge.  This one is 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches.  I used a new stamp set from Reverse Confetti......love those bees!  I paired it with a hexagon cover plate and some fun patterned paper.  I had my card all ready to take the picture when I noticed that the sentiment I had chosen was not for a birthday..  Rats!  I had to do a quick repair job and change the sentiment.

Please visit the Seize the Birthday blog to see the wonderful cards the rest of the team have created.  I hope you will be inspired by our Tall & Skinny challenge this week and come play along.

I love how you have used that hex cover plate, and the patterned paper is perfect for this. And yeah, I love those little bees too - they always make me smile!!!
