There is a lot of inspiration in this photo. I hope you will come and play along. I drew my inspiration from the yellow and blue colors and the anchor. I started with a stamp set from Gina K. Designs and used the anchor stamp to make my background. I stamped the anchors in GKD Sweet Corn and Blue Denim. Then I pulled out some dies and a stamp from Reverse Confetti to create the band and sentiment. The anchor is a die from Momenta that I embossed with Liquid Platinum embossing powder.

ReplyDeleteA fun photo and great challenge. I don't have much in nautical stamps, so I love how you made this a birthday card with the anchors in the background. Using the colors in the photo very creatively too. Oh, yes, the wavy border in the inside too.
