More Valentines

I was finally able to finish my Valentines today.  I thought I had the grand kids all done and realized that I hadn't put sentiments on the inside.  It's amazing how long it takes to find the right one and get it stamped, or I'm just slow.  lol  Anyway, the first one here is for my husband. The second one I actually made two of for my daughter, son and their spouses.

I knew I wanted to use the Enclosed Heart die for this one, and I used a technique I saw at PTI by masking and adding a flowered wreath around the heart.  I love the way it came out.

The Recipe:
PTI Enclosed Heart, Embellished Elegance, Super Gingham
RC Arrow

For this one I used the PTI Heart Cover Plate.  I cut it out using Kraft card stock and then used the same die to cut out six different pieces of patterned paper.  The ones I used here were a gift from my friend, Nancy.  I added the hearts to the Kraft card stock for an in-lay effect.

The Recipe:
PTI Hearts Cover Plate
PTI Enclosed Heart Sentiment
We R Memory Keepers twine
GKD Passionate Pink button

  4. Wow, I love them both. You have really nailed that technique on the first one. It's so much fun, and I really like your gingham background too. And the one with all the hearts just bowled me over. So labor intensive with all those die cuts. Really stunning inlay, well done!
