STV13MON42 - Kissing Technique

This week's challenge at StampTV is to use a Kissing Technique.  I just realized while searching for stamps for this card that I don't have very many solid stamps.  I found a vase in a set by Gina K. Designs called Vogue Vases that I decided to use.  Here's my card:

To do the kissing technique I inked the vase stamp with GKD Prickly Pear ink.  I inked a small leaf stamp from GKD Summer Blooms with GKD Grass Green.  I stamped the leaf stamp onto the vase stamp several times to get the coverage I wanted, gave a little huff and then stamped onto white cardstock.  I don't know why the green looks two-toned, but I kind of like it.

GKD Pure Luxury White & Red Hot cardstock

  1. So cool! Great idea to use the vase! Might have to CASE you on this...I don't have many solid stamps, either.

  2. Oh wow Sharyn, this is just beautiful. I have been trying to do a card for this challenge, and it's not as easy as it would first seem. You have done it beautifully here. Oh, and I love that die too. As I said, absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!

  3. Woo beautiful! I love the layering, too - great job!!!

Thank you for your kind comments. I always appreciate hearing from you.
