Just Us Girls #238 - Photo

This week at Just Us Girls our hostess is Sue T, and she has chosen to do a photo challenge.  Here's a look at our challenge photo.

Here's my card

I was inspired by the sheet or blanket in the background that looked like a hexagon pattern, the colors aqua, pink & yellow and the frame.  I decided to think a little out of the box and use this fun poppy stamp set in place of the balloons and topped it off with a little twine.

Verve Poppy Birthday
PTI Hexagon Cover Plate
Spellbinders Deckled Rectangles Small
Doodlebug Twine
GKD Pure Luxury White, Ocean Mist, Turquoise Sea, Sweet Corn, Kraft & Fresh Asparagus CS

Thanks so much for coming by to look!  Please stop by the Just Us Girls page to see what the rest of team and our GD, Lee Anne, have come up with this week using this fun photo.  I hope you will be inspired and want to come and play.  We would love to see what you create!

  2. Great card, Sharyn! I did not see those hexagons at all! I saw white dots! Maybe my glasses need to be changed! Love those poppies on your card too!

  8. Love how you pulled out the hexagon in the blanket. Those flowers are so retro and I am envious. I like how you think out of the box on this one.
