Just Us Girls #242 - Photo Inspiration

Look at the great photo Vicki chose for our photo inspiration challenge this week!
She, also, celebrated her birthday on May 22nd.
Happy Birthday, Vicki!  Hope you had a wonderful day!

Here's my card

I pulled out my PTI Center Stage Cover Plate die and cut it in both black and white, so I could make an in-laid background.  I love this die!  It is so much fun to play with and doesn't it make a striking background! The sweet tulips are from GKD A Year of Flowers 2, and the vase is from Buds & Vases.  They were colored with Copic markers.  The Hello greeting is from GKD Vertical Greetings & Things.

Please visit the Just Us Girls page to see the beautiful cards the rest of the team and our GD, Barbara, have made this week.  I hope you will be inspired and want to play along.  We would love to see how this photo inspires you!

Just a reminder:  If you win Chic of the Week in any of our May challenges, you are in the running to be chosen as our Guest Designer for the month of July.

  6. Hi Sharyn, Looks like you and I were inspired by this photo in a similar way. Love the stamp set that you chose for the tulips. It is more of a whimsy look. Love the addition of the yellow ribbon, a good way to get more of the inspiration colors in. Thanks for your sweet comment on my card too.
