Happy Dance News!!!

Well, this is my big news!  I'm going to be a Guest Designer for the Gina K. Designs June Release, and I couldn't be more proud to represent such a wonderful company.  I got my stamping start with StampTV and Gina K. Designs back in the summer of 2012.  I have been hopelessly hooked ever since.

Let me tell you a little story about how I started stamping.  For the past few years, my husband and I have received a handmade Christmas card from his boss, that his wife had made.  I decided I would love to try it but had no idea where to start.  I was standing in front a huge wooden stamp display at Hobby Lobby trying to decide which of the many stamps I needed when another customer asked me how long I had been stamping.  I said that I had never stamped before.  She said then you need to go online and check out StampTV and the wonderful videos they have there.  Well, I went to StampTV and spent days watching videos before I was brave enough to submit anything.  Gina made everything look so easy and fun.  I will be forever grateful as it has opened my eyes to a whole world of creative fun that I never knew existed.  By the way, the very first video I watched and the first stamp set I bought was called Blessed is the Season.  Gina made a beautiful black and white Christmas card that to this day, I still think is stunning!

I hope you will check back with me here and over at StampTV for the reveal of the gorgeous new stamp sets and card examples for the June release.

If you could roll back time and talk to that woman again, would you ask her how expensive it was going to be before starting on stamping? LOL
