NBUS Challenge #1

I was motivated to pull out some never-before-used-schtuff and play along with this challenge.  I am so guilty of buying things I see on other cards, simply because I have to have it, and then putting it away and forgetting about it.  So, I searched through my many neglected stamps and came up with this frame stamp from Gina K. Designs called Branching Out.  It's an adorable set that needed some love.  I colored the stamp with Memento markers, Rich Cocoa and Bamboo Leaves.  The flowers were stamped with GKD Bubblegum ink, the butterfly with GKD Passionate Pink, and the bird with Memento Rich Cocoa.  I used Spellbinders dies Standard Circles and Scalloped Circles to frame the sentiment.  I added a gingham ribbon and Mixed Berries button.  The bling on the butterfly is from Recollections.  Thanks so much for coming by to look!

Please stop by Darnell's blog to see all she has going on.  Her blog is so entertaining!  She is funny, crazy and a really nice person.

  8. Sharyn, this is like a sweet flowered little girl's dress with an embroidered panel on the front and below it a pretty pink gingham bow! Can't you just picture her! It's fabulous! You should enter this in the TIME OUT challenge where the theme is summer with an option of flowers (great prize!). I think it's perfect for it!

It does my heart good to know I'm not the only one who buys more new schtuff before using the schtuff they already have because they forgot they even have it!
