Make It Monday #172: Rainbow Medallions

What a fun technique going on over at Make It Monday!  My mojo has gone decidedly south this past week, but I had to give this a try.

My card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches, and I used the beautiful sunflower stamp from PTI's Simple Sunflower stamp set.  I made the medallion by using the smaller of the sunflowers and lots of Gina K. Designs ink. Then I made the larger sunflower in the center by inking the stamp with Sweet Corn ink and rolling the edges in Sweet Mango.  The sunflower center was stamped using Warm Cocoa ink.  I used the largest of the Spellbinder Captivating Squares dies and inked the edges with the eight colors I used in the medallion.  It was attached to a Sweet Corn card base using 1/4" pop dots and a brown and white bow from Offray was added.  Thanks so much for stopping by to look!

GKD Sweet Corn, Sweet Mango, Tomato Soup, Grass Green, Powder Blue, Turquoise Sea, Bubblegum,    Red Hot, Warm Cocoa & Black Onyx ink
