Just Us Girls #300 - Word Week

This week at Just Us Girls is a very special week for us.  We are celebrating our 300th challenge! Can you believe it?  Vicki is our hostess and for Word Week she has chosen Congratulations as our inspiration.

Our Guest Designer for the month of July is Linda Beeson.  Welcome, Linda!  Please visit her blog and leave her some love.

I made this card in honor of my wonderful teammates and to celebrate our 300th Challenge!  It is so much fun to work with such a talented group of ladies, and I love the wide variety of challenges each week.  I hope you will play along this week and help us celebrate!

We have a few AWESOME sponsors helping us to celebrate our 300th!

All of our stamps are proudly made in the USA. Through our stamp line, we aim to encourage crafters of all ages and experience levels to "Stamp with all your ART!"

I used a fun frame stamp from Gina K. Designs and made the flowers by using a faux dry embossing technique I saw on a video by Melanie Muenchinger.  I stamped the flowers with turquoise sea ink and then stamped again offsetting just a little with white pigment ink.  I added a couple of leaves and stamped a button center.  I used an embossing folder called Oxford and added a vellum strip with a white embossed sentiment.

Please visit the Just Us Girls blog to see the beautiful cards the rest of the team and our GD, Linda Beeson, have created this week.  I hope you will come join us and play along!

If you win Chic of the Week in any of our July challenges, you will be in the running to be chosen as our Guest Designer for the month of September.  Good luck!
