Non- card post

After I started my blog a couple of years ago, I began getting lovely comments from a very sweet woman named Brenda Wilkinson.  She visits my blog often, and I visit hers.  We share a love of card making.  A few months ago, we realized that we live about 20 minutes away from each other, and that brings me to today.  I was able to meet her in person.  We had a lovely lunch and conversation at Cheddar's. After phone calls and e-mails, it was fun to finally get together.  She even brought me a goodie bag full of fun surprises.  I'm so grateful for the wonderful people that have been brought into my life by the passion we all share for paper crafting.  I wish we had gotten a picture, but didn't think about it until we were in the parking lot and getting ready to leave.....maybe next time.

Here is a link to Brenda's blog, if you would like to pay her a visit.

  2. Oh you lucky girl! I remember how pumped I was when I met Nancy. So much fun to finally meet someone that you have deleopled an online relationship with. When you do, you are not disappointed. Oh the lovely friendships we can make over coffee and paper. Love you my friend! So glad I found you.

  7. We both posted about the same thing! I so enjoyed our visit and can't wait to meet again. I love seeing people that meet up over blogging and forming such great friendships. There are also wonderful friendships with gals you don't ever get to meet in person.
