Color Pop Butterflies

The PTI Color Pop Butterflies is another one of the sets that is being retired this year.  I snapped it up because I love the sweet butterflies.  Here's my card:


I worked so hard on the background panel stamping the butterflies and flowers and then proceeded to cover it up with a Mix and Mat Scallops panel....go figure.  It doesn't make sense, does it?  I added some flowers from the Graceful Greetings II set and a couple of Fancy Flourishes.

    WOW!!! that dark butterfly background is perfect for the white scalloped panel with the beautiful bright colored flowers and sentiment.

    I can't believe you made that background. Until I read your post I thought it was patterned paper. Very cool, and labor intensive. I love your design, this is such a sweet card.
