Peace on Earth

Today I'm playing with Gina K. Designs stamps.  I wanted to make a snowflake wreath after I saw the new Holiday Wreath Builder set, but mine has not arrived yet, so I had to improvise.

The snowflakes on this card are from Melanie's Triple Play Frame set and they worked beautifully.  The cute little snowman and the sentiment is from her Holiday Frame set.  If you have any of her frame sets, there are some wonderful little images that work well with the wreath builder.  It's hard to see on the photo but I stamped the background paper with Gina's beautiful new Petite Flourish background stamp and Versamark ink and then embossed with Ranger Bridal Tinsel EP.  I've never used this embossing powder before.  It dries clear with lots of sparkle.

Here are some more wreaths that I have been working on in the wee hours of the morning. (Still having insomnia problems.)  I'll tell you more about them when I make a card with them.

Thanks so much for stopping by to look.  Your kind comments are always appreciated.

  1. I don't think you need the wreath builder if you can make these beautiful wreaths without it! The Bridal Tinsel just sparkles on your Christmas wreath. I'm so sorry your aren't sleeping but you are sure productive in the wee hours!

  2. Why is it so easy to get crazy stamping in the middle of the night? I am like you with insomnia at times (right now I am taking pain pills, so pretty much get to sleep most of the night.) I love your wreaths, I have a stack too, but I don't think they will be seeing a card face! Glad you got your internet back...it is good to see yu getting inky again, hope life is getting easier for you!

  3. Such a sweet card. You are rockin' that Wreath Builder!!! I love the blue and white with just a pop of red. That ribbon is the perfect final touch here, as are the swirly die cuts beneath the focal panel. Really cute.

  4. Look at all of the card fronts that you made with stamps other than the wreath builder. Great use of your stamps and a great card.

  5. Sharyn, I love, love, love this card. The colors and how you "improvised" are perfect. That little snowman is so cute. Hope you'll be able to sleep soon.

  7. I love wreaths & need to make a snowflake one. Used to do them with punches, but not patience for that anymore--haha! This is beautiful & so cute with the little snowman!
