Think of You

I was finally able to get into my craft room today.  A couple of weeks ago, I was bitten on the hand by a big dog.  I have been babying it and the nine stitches I had to have.  Stitches are out now and I'm back in business.

A while ago I watched a Gina K. video on alcohol inks and backgrounds.  This is one of mine.  I used Tim Holtz Purple Twilight and Amethyst alcohol inks.  I love the way it came out.  The stamps are from the Gina K. Designs Dazzling Dahlia set.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Your kind comments are always appreciated.

  1. I hate that you were out of commission after being bit by the dog. That is so painful and I'm glad you're on the mend and back in the craft room. This is a lovely card. The AI are a wonderful color and the flowers are gorgeous.

  2. This card smacks of Happy Spring in a good way. Love your colors. Glad that you hand of better.

  3. So sorry about your dog bite and glad you're on the mend. This card is absolutely gorgeous!!! Really like the colors.

  4. Your background is just beautiful. Aren't alcohol inks fun??? So sorry about your hand, 9 stitches is a LOT. That must have been traumatic for sure. Good thoughts going your way!!!!

  5. NINE!!! Ouch, ouch and OUCH! Well glad they are out and you can still craft as beautifully as before....phew! What a glorious background, the color looks fabulous! I am sure all of mine would be know a yucky brown, even though I don't have any brown alcohol inks LOL This is so beautiful, screams SPRING to me on this glorious day!

  6. This is so pretty Sharyn! So sad to read about the dog bite! That is not okay! I hope the owner apologized at the very least. Glad you are back to creating!
