Rock Out Your Birthday

This is the cutest set!
It's by My Favorite Things and is called
For the Record.

The record is popped up and will actually turn.
I watched a video on You Tube showing how to make
the record player.
You can see it by clicking on the link.

I wanted a retro feel for the front of this card
so, I chose a fun set from PTI
called Retro Style Birthday Sentiments.
Along with the dies from the original set called
Retro Style Graduation,
I was able to create these fun
old-fashioned signs.

The card is for my husband.
He is retro and he is an oldie but a goodie!

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Your kind comments are always appreciated.

  1. This record player is the bomb! You couldn't make it for the grands because they might not know what it is! It's a great card for hubby. Happy birthday to him.

  2. This is so stinkin' cute. I just love it, so retro and fun. You have used that record player set perfectly and your colors are spot on for this look. Really, really awesome. Well done!!!

  3. What a great project! I love the old retro record player and it is so well designed too. Awesome birthday creation!

  4. So Retro! Love the record player, Penny and I listen to Winnie The Pooh And The Honey Tree a bazillion times a day via Tom's childhood record--so FUN! This is such an awesome card, Sharyn! Love everything about it. You have combined the sets perfectly!

  5. What a fun card. Your oldie but goodie hubby will love it. Happy birthday to him.
