PTI 11th Anniversary Retired Challenge

I am entering another challenge in PTI's 11th Anniversary Celebration.  This challenge requires us to choose a set that is going to be retired and make a card with it.

This year PTI is retiring a number of stamp sets.  This beautiful Cutting Garden set is one of them.  I have used this one several times and just love the gorgeous blooms.  I used the Mix & Mat Herringbone die and some pretty paper from the Green Boutique patterned paper pack.

Prayers for You

The Plant Manager where my husband works lost his battle with lung cancer on Saturday.  I made this card to send to his family.

I used a rock and roll technique on the flowers.  The ink is from PTI.  The first color is Orange Zest and the second color is Pure Poppy.

Just Us Girls #303 - Photo Week

This time at Just Us Girls it's Photo Week.  Cheryl is our hostess and she has chosen a beautiful picture for our inspiration.

We are saying goodbye to our Guest Designer, Linda Beeson, with the completion of this challenge.  I would like to thank her for sharing her wonderful talent with us.

Here's my card

Isn't this a fun picture!  I wish I had a porch like this.  I made a stencil using the Center Stage Cover Plate from PTI and sponged Sweet Mango ink onto my white card base.  I used a background stamp from PTI called Basics Art Deco and some Blue Raspberry card stock and ink to make the blue panel. The flower stamp is, also, from PTI and is called Cutting Garden.  I have had this one for a while and not used it before.
