Sending Caring Thoughts

I love Peonies!

They are a big, beautiful, majestic flower

and the state flower of Indiana,

my lovely state.

Look how big this is against an A2 card base.

The stamp is from Stamp Market,

a new to me company,

and is called Peony Dream.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Your kind comments are always appreciated.

Note Card - Indiana

The state flower from my state of Indiana is the gorgeous Peony.  This is the second of my flowered note cards.

I'm loving the Stately Flowers series from Gina K. Designs.  The border stamp around this fun flower is from Stately Flowers 11.  I love that it looks like a big postage stamp.

Thanks so much for coming by to look.  Your kind comments are always appreciated.

Altenew June Inspiration Challenge

I saw this wonderful challenge over at Altenew and had to play along.  Here is how I was inspired by their photo.

I picked a beautiful stamp set by Altenew called Peony Bouquet.  I adore this flower!  The sentiment is also from Altenew and is called Painted Greetings.  The background stamp is from My Favorite Things and is called Lace.  I embossed it in white on Tropical Teal card stock.  Thanks for coming by to look!

Seize the Birthday - Floral

This time at Seize the Birthday our topping is Floral.  Of course, it's always "Anything Goes" if you don't want to do the topping.

We have a new Surprise Party Guest for April and May.  Her name is Patti.  Welcome, Patti!  Please visit her blog and leave her some love.

I bought my very first Altenew stamp set, and it is called Peony Bouquet.  I live in Indiana, and the peony is our state flower.  This one was so beautifully done and really showcases this big, beautiful flower.  I'm sure I will be shopping Altenew again very soon!  The sentiment is from PTI, and the background piece is from Heidi Swapp.  I purchased some of her pre-toner pads and used my Minc Mini and some gold foil.  I really love my Minc mini!

Please visit the Seize the Birthday blog to see the wonderful cards the rest of the team and our Surprise Party Guest, Patti, have made this time.  I hope you will come and play along!
