Mod Squad - Go For The Gold!

The challenge at the Mod Squad is called Go For The Gold!  I had a little free time and decided to play along.

I used a set from Gina K. Designs called Christmas Magic and made some cute tags.  This is one of the beautiful sets from their new Stamp TV kit.  I really love these cute figures.  My "go for the gold" is the Delicata Golden Glitz that I sponged on the edges of the tags.  Thanks for coming by to look!

Seize the Birthday - Tags (Little or Big)

This time at Seize the Birthday our topping is Tags.  The tag can be little or big, on or off of a card. Of course, it's always "Anything Goes" if you don't want to do the topping as long as it's for a birthday.

I started with some fun and colorful patterned paper from Echo Park called Sweet Summertime. Everything else is from Reverse Confetti.

Please visit the Seize the Birthday blog to see the wonderful cards the rest of the team and our Surprise Party Guest, Monika, have made this time.  I hope you will play along with us.

Just for fun

I've been working hard trying to get caught up.  This time of year is always so crazy busy.  Here are a couple of cards and some tags that I have been working on.

Last year my friend, Vicki Dutcher made a card using a Christmas tree punch.  I thought it was the prettiest little tree ever and immediately bought it.  This is the tree.  I punched it out of GKD Grass Green card stock.  I used some white glue that I watered down, so I could paint it on the tree and then sprinkled with some of Martha Stewart's Limeade Glitter.  After it dried, I sprayed it with a sealer so the glitter would stay put.  I love the background with the Fair Isle Border stamp from PTI.

The Recipe:
PTI Fair Isle Borders
PTI Christmas Cheer die
MFT Stitched Arch Stax die
Lil' Inkers Stitched Scallop Border - inside
EK Success Christmas Tree Punch
MS Limeade Glitter

Isn't this the cutest die set?  I made this for a sweet lady I know who is going through some health problems.  I was hoping to cheer her up and bring a smile to her face.  The set is from MFT and is called Hug in a Mug.  Everything on this card is from MFT, even the patterned paper.

Here are a few of the tags I have been working on.  I didn't keep track of all of the supplies I used, but isn't it fun to combine your stamps and dies.

The Mod Squad - Tag Time

I woke up this morning to ice and snow......Brrrr!  It put me in a mood to stay inside where it is warm and craft.  The Mod Squad challenge this week is called Tag Time.  I pulled out my new StampTV kit and some other favorites to create four tags.

I don't do many tags and I really don't know why, because I had a lot of fun making these.  lol  This may be my new favorite thing to do.  Thanks so much for coming by to look!

Seize the Birthday - Tags

It's time for another two week challenge at Seize the Birthday!  Seize the Birthday is always "Anything Goes", as long as it's for a birthday, but if you are feeling adventurous, we have an added topping this time of Tags. The toppings are always an option.

Here are my tags

The stamp set I used is from Verve and is called Geared Up.  I loved this cute little robot the minute I saw him.  The set comes with numbers, gears, three great sentiments and, of course, this sweet robot.  Isn't he cute with the number 6 on this tummy!  My grandson will be 6 in June, so this little guy is going on his present.  The vertical Happy Birthday is from the Gina K. Designs set Vertical Greetings & Things.  The other tag shows some of the gears and one of the sentiments from the Geared Up set.

GKD Vertical Greetings & Things
Doodlebug Boys Only patterned paper

Reverse Confetti Tag Me dies

Please visit the Seize the Birthday page to see the beautiful projects the rest of the team have come up with this week.  I hope you will be inspired and want to play along with us. We would love to see what you create!
