Simple Things

The 4th was a very quiet and relaxing day for us.

I was able to get into my craft room

and put together two cards.

I am really enjoying the new stamps from The Greetery's newest release.

I, also, love that Betsy is only releasing every other month.

It gives me more time to enjoy and use my stamps & dies.

When I received my new goodies,

 I sat down and stamped out lots of images.

This has worked out well for me.

I have a lot of fun things ready to go.

Seize the Birthday - Birds, Bees or Butterflies

This time at Seize the Birthday our topping is Birds, Bees or Butterflies.  Of course, it's always "Anything Goes" if you don't want to do the topping as long as it's for a birthday!

This fun stamp set is from Reverse Confetti.  Don't you love the sentiment for a missed birthday?  I had to laugh when I saw it.  The tag is also Reverse Confetti.  The background is a new stencil from PTI called Modern Background.

Just Us Girls #346 - Word Week

This time at Just Us Girls it's Word Week.  Bobby is our hostess and she has chosen the word Birds as our inspiration.

We have many different birds around our feeder in the backyard, but these little hummingbirds are the most fascinating to watch.  I am always amazed by their speed.  The hummingbird is from a GKD set called Stamper's Favorites and the sentiment is from Stately Flowers 7.  I pulled out a watercolor background that I made some time ago and cut it with a Spellbinders die called Pearl Effects.
