Just Us Girls #197
This weeks Just Us Girls challenge is a technique challenge to use any Mixed Media on your project. This is all new to me, and I have to admit that I was a little intimidated. So, I watched a video and decided to give it a try. To create my background, I used fired brick and tumbled glass distress inks. I applied white acrylic paint over that and then added a touch of spun sugar distress ink. I tried to splatter some pink and blue acrylic paint with a toothbrush, but really think I got more on my work table than on my card. I stamped the poofy flower with VersaMark ink and embossed in white. I added the greeting, stem, leaves and grass. This panel was attached to a piece of GKD Moonlit Fog cardstock and then to a Bubblegum pink card base.
