Just Us Girls #218 Sketch

Welcome to this week's Just Us Girls Challenge

First, I want to welcome Jan Del Bone into the fold.  She is our Guest Designer for the month of December.  Welcome, Jan!  This week Maria has picked a very interesting sketch for us.  Let's take a look!

I have to admit that I found this one to be a bit of a challenge.  After a couple of tries, here is what I came up with.

The stamp I used is from PTI and is called Peaceful Pinecones.  I stamped them using GKD Christmas Pine and Warm Cocoa ink and used Charcoal Brown ink for the greeting..  The patterned paper is from the GKD Season's Greetings paper pack and the cardstock, also, from GKD is Cranberry Tart and Kraft.  I used Spellbinders Classic Ovals and Classic Rectangles dies for my cuts and a Cuttlebug Swiss Dot EF.  The enamel dots are from My Mind's Eye and the ribbon is from Offray.

Come take a look at the Just Us Girls page and see the wonderful creations the rest of the team has come up with.  We hope you will be inspired and want to join in on the fun.

Just a reminder that Just Us Girls will be continuing the Guest Designer position.  Winning  Chic of the Week puts you in the running for the GD spot.  At the end of the month, after we have all of our Chic's of the weeks for that month, the JUGS girls will decide who the Guest Designer will be. The Chic picked from the December challenges will be joining the team as our Guest Designer for the month of February.

  5. Great sketch, so versatile. And you used it perfectly here. I love that pinecone and bough stamp. (Is that the way you spell bough?? Doesn't look right.) Fussy cutting it was just the ticket to make it pop. Very pretty card my dear....love it!!
