Hello, everyone, I'm so glad you could join me today! This is my very first posting as a member of the Seize the Birthday design team. I'm so excited to be here!
For the 2nd challenge of January, our topping is - To make a birthday card with coloring. I have a couple of reasons for making my card the way I did. Take a look and then I will explain.
January has always been a blue month for me, so I wanted to change that and have a lot of color. Did you know that there is a flower for January? Actually, I found two. One is the carnation and the other is the snowdrop. I am using a gorgeous carnation stamp from Gina K. Designs that was illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger. For the topping this week, I colored my carnation with Copic markers. The patterned paper is called Watercolor Garden. It is a gorgeous orange paper with a red and white swirly pattern. All of the colors I used were pulled from this paper.
