Welcome to this week's Just Us Girls Challenge
Nancy is our hostess this week with a wonderful Photo Inspiration. Isn't this a great picture!
Here's my card
I was excited to see this inspiration photo because I bought a set from Gina K. Designs some time ago called Up & Away, illustrated by Theresa Momber. This set has hot-air balloons, tree, clouds and great sentiments. Theresa is known for her beautiful sponged scenes. I have been studying some of her techniques and hoping that a smidgen of her talent would rub off on me. This card is my attempt at sponged greatness! (I know I have much to learn.) I did a lot of masking, sponging, stamping and coloring, but all in all, I'm pretty happy with it. The balloons were colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.

Here's another card I did with the same stamp set, but I added a couple of new dies that I just bought. They are both from Lil' Inkers, one is called Instant Camera and the other Stitches & Stripes Cover Plate.
