Here's my card
I was inspired by the sheet or blanket in the background that looked like a hexagon pattern, the colors aqua, pink & yellow and the frame. I decided to think a little out of the box and use this fun poppy stamp set in place of the balloons and topped it off with a little twine.

Great card, Sharyn! I did not see those hexagons at all! I saw white dots! Maybe my glasses need to be changed! Love those poppies on your card too!
ReplyDeleteSharyn, you used my favorite flowers from Verve! I love how you've captured all the elements so well...beautifully designed!
ReplyDeleteThose Verve poppies are stunning, Sharyn (and on my wish list!) ... they're fantastic against the honeycomb 'quilt' ... just lovely! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteExcellent card! Love the inlaid hexagons with your bg!
ReplyDeleteI pulled that hexagon panel into my card as well! Love the flowers you placed on top of it! Great take on the photo!
ReplyDeleteLove the honeycomb background and how you popped some of them back in! Sure to make any one happy!
ReplyDeleteLove how you pulled out the hexagon in the blanket. Those flowers are so retro and I am envious. I like how you think out of the box on this one.
ReplyDeleteThat hexagon background is so cool, I love how you added some in different colors back into the holes! Great take on the inspiration photo.
