It's time for another two week challenge at Seize the Birthday! Seize the Birthday is always "anything goes", as long as it's for a birthday, but this time we have added a topping of Summer Time. The toppings are always an option.
Here's my card
When I was a child my family did a lot of camping. We had a trailer kind of like this one. What fun we had packing everything up and heading off to a wonderful wooded site to hike, ride bikes or swim. I remember many nights around the campfire roasting marshmallows, hot dogs and making those yummy pies in a pie maker with pie filling and bread. When they were done they were dipped in powdered sugar.....so good!
I used a stamp set from Flourishes called S'more Fun and colored it with Copic markers. I inked the sky and grass with Memento Summer Sky, Danube Blue and GKD Grass Green. The trees are from a GKD set called The Northwoods and the sentiment is from the GKD set called Birthday Greetings.

ReplyDeleteYou did a wonderful job on the coloring for the grass and the sky. such a happy scene, and the camper looks so cozy. Complete with potted plant. Makes me want to camp again, maybe.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Sharon! I can almost taste those camp pies- they were my favorite thing about camping!!! We made ours with bread and jelly:). Your card is darling!
