Just Us Girls #280 - Trend Week

This week at Just Us Girls it's Trend Week.  Ina is our hostess and she has chosen the trend of burlap. I would, also, like to welcome Stephanie Severin as our Guest Designer for the month of February. Be sure to stop by her blog and leave her some love.

Here's my card

Happy Valentine's Day!  Hope you are doing something special today with your favorite sweetie! For my card, I decided to cut the burlap with some Spellbinders heart dies and layered them with Red Hot card stock.  I love the look!  I used some script background paper, added a glittery arrow and a diamond gem to the sentiment.  Thanks for coming by to look!

Please visit the Just Us Girls blog to see the beautiful cards the rest of the team and our GD, Stephanie, have created this week using burlap.  I hope you will join us for Trend Week.

If you win Chic of the Week in any of our February challenges, you will be in the running to be chosen as our Guest Designer for the month of April.  Good luck!

  6. The burlap heart looks masculine and the red heart if feminine. Then the arrow dies is connecting them both. Sweet Valentine card in red and black and burlap.

  7. Love this. I'm surprised how well the burlap cut - I thought it would fray more. Those colors are dynamite together - never thought of using red. Really great card!!
