Last weekend my husband and I went to an antique mall to look around. I saw some beautiful vintage tablecloths and was inspired. This stamp set is from PTI and is called Vintage Linens. The cloth I saw had a gingham background with some beautiful vintage flowers. I made a mask of the flowers and leaves and attached them to some white card stock. I used the PTI Super Gingham stamp to make the background. I removed the masks and stamped the flowers and leaves.

WOW, you HAVE been busy! Beautiful cards - and it IS lovely just to make a card for no particular reason. xx
ReplyDeleteGreat cards Sharyn. I love the sympathy one. I love kraft cardstock and it really shows off the white flower. Also your gingham background in pink is so pretty. It's fun to just "make a card" with no specific thing in mind. I always make them for someone but I need to just play and have fun.
ReplyDeleteThese are all so P.R.E.T.T.Y!!!!! And yes, I seldom get to make any card I want, just for the fun of it. I love all of them, but the ones with the vintage flowers are just so YOU!!! Oh, and I love the one with the white on kraft too....always stunning!! And also, I thought that gingham background was patterned paper until I read all the way through. HOW FUUUUN!!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are all beautiful Sharyn. I think the first one is my favorite. It's always fun....and less stressful....to make a card just because.
ReplyDeleteSharyn, so glad that you posted these, just for fun cards. Lately, I have had to make baby and wedding shower and wedding cards along with the hosting requirements and I forgot that you can make them just for fun. Lol if I had to pick one as my favorite, it would be the second one with the white shadow, lovely. Thanks for reminding me that it can be fun. I love them all!
ReplyDeleteI saw these cards posted over on Pinterest and had to come by and see why I had missed them. I love each and everyone...honestly! The first one is my favorite! I think the background looks like paper and those flowers are beautiful! The sympathy one is soft and wonderfully clean. The snail was is such a cute little scene. Great job my friend!
ReplyDeleteThese are all gorgeous Sharyn! Sometimes we make the best cards when it's not for a challenge! Awesome job my dear! Hugs
