Seize the Birthday - Vellum or Acetate

This time at Seize the Birthday the challenge is to use Vellum or Acetate on your card.  Of course, it's always "Anything Goes" if you don't want to play along with the topping, as long as it's for a birthday.  I chose to use Vellum.  Here's how I was inspired.

The quilted background is a stamp from W Plus 9 called Quilt Print.  I stamped it using GKD Sweet Corn, Bubblegum & Wild Wisteria inks.  I then added a rectangle of Vellum that I stitched on three sides, filled with some sequins in pink, gold & silver and then stitched it closed.  I added the sentiment and a fun little cupcake with sparkly icing.

Please visit the Seize the Birthday blog to see the wonderful cards the rest of the team have made.  I hope you will be inspired and come play along.
