With the completion of this challenge, we will be saying goodbye to our Guest Designer, Stephanie. I would like to thank her for playing along with us this month and sharing her wonderful talent.
I drew my inspiration from the tropical, beachy feel and of the birds, but I chose to do my card with a pretty little pink flamingo. I love this magnificent bird. On a vacation trip several years ago to Nassau in the Bahamas, we were able to go to Ardastra Gardens - the home of the "Marching Flamingos" and other rare and endangered animals and exotic gardens. What a fun time we had!
My flamingo is from Reverse Confetti. I love this stamp and have used it many times. The wonderful sentiment is one of four that comes with this set. The raindrops is another die from RC called Perfectly Paisley.
Please visit the Just Us Girls blog to see the beautiful cards the rest of the team and our GD, Stephanie Castro, have made this time. I hope you will come and play along.
If you win Chic of the Week in any of our March challenges, you will be in the running to be chosen as our Guest Designer for the month of May. Good luck!
