Here's the inspiration photo. Isn't it great!
I drew my inspiration from the pumpkins,
except I gave mine happy faces, the leaves and the plaid.....
and I made my card into a Halloween card.
I made the background by sponging Distress Oxide inks in Salty Ocean & Peacock Feathers. I sprinkled a little water and some Stampendous Shabby Blue EP and heated. The plaid was made with a background stamp from GKD called Diagonal Stripe. I used PTI Tropical Teal & Orange Zest Ink. I cut it with the largest of the Pierced Feature Frame dies. If you position it in the center of the paper, it will leave a little border that fits perfectly as decoration for the inside of your card. I added a fence decorated with sprigs of bittersweet. The pumpkins were stamped with Summer Sunrise and rock and rolled with Zesty Orange ink. The sweet faces were stamped in True Black. I added some leaves stamped in Simply Chartreuse and Ripe Avocado. I added a cute little Dracula from the MIM Halloween Pin Ups set.
Here's a peek at the card I made a month too early.
Thanks so much for stopping by to look. Your kind comments are always appreciated.
