Back to School

I pulled out some product from PTI
that I bought last year and never used.
I decided to make some Back to School cards
for my grandchildren.

I love the apples and the pencils and,
of course, the gingham!
The inside sentiment says,
the influence
of a good
teacher
can never be
erased.
Isn't that great!

Is everyone else as messy as I am?
This is my work desk while making these two cards.
It's a wonder I get anything done.
Guess it's time to clean!

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Your kind comments are always appreciated.

The Recipe:
PTI Big Apple Die
PTI School Days
PTI Apple Prints
PTI Stitching Garden
PTI Chicken Scratch Gingham patterned paper
PTI Vintage Linens

  1. Great card for back to school for kids or teacher. I can relate with your work space. The saying goes "a messy desk is a sign of a creative mind" But my response is too much mess stifles creativity. I have to stop frequently to clean and straighten.

  5. Your grandchildren are going to love these, Sharyn! It seems really strange seeing 'back to school' cards popping up in blogland. In the UK the children are just starting their summer holidays. xx

  7. Super cute!! Your grandkids will love them. Makes me want to get busy and make one for my daughter, a fifth grade teacher. Your desk looks no worse than mine when I'm creating.

  9. LOVE this, and love the photo of your craft room. Can't create without getting messy. It's the way it goes. And oh my gosh, I don't even want to COUNT how many things I have gotten and haven't used yet. There are not enough hours in the day!!!
