Happy Birthday Container Garden

This is the new Container Garden
from The Greetery.

I am slowly working my way through the new release, and I love everything!
This is a fun set to use.
I used transparency sheets to make the front and back of my container
and the new A Side of Greens die to decorate the side of the card.
The patterned paper is from the Chicken Scratch pack at Papertrey Ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Your kind comments are always appreciated.

Easter Bonanza!

I'm giving you fair warning that this is a long post.
Many thanks to all who stay until the end.

I've been making Easter cards for days,
so here we go.

The sets I used for this card are from
The Greetery
called Empty Grave and Print Shop Floral Frame.
I also used Gina K. Designs Wisteria Lane  patterned paper
and a Pierced Feature Frame from Papertrey Ink.

The cute bunny wreath is from a new set called Bunny Hop
and the pretty Easter bow is a new set called
Put A Bow On It from
The Greetery.
I also used the Window Pane Plaid stamp from The Greetery
and Master Layouts 4 from Gina K. Designs.

This card is a CASE of a card I saw on Pinterest by Nicky Noo Cards.
I thought it was adorable and had to create my own.
The stamp set is Simply Spring Borders by Papertrey Ink
and the die is called Snow Drifts Cover Ups by My Favorite Things.

The bunnies are a set from Papertrey Ink called So Sweet.
The yummy carrots are new from The Greetery
called BotaniCuts Carrots.
The sentiment is from a set called Empty Grave and the
sentiment die from a set called Pretext Sentiment both from The Greetery.
I used Bitty Big Hawaiian Shores patterned paper from Papertrey Ink
and Master Layouts from Gina K. Designs.

The Bunny cards are a set from Papertrey Ink
called Bunny Blessings and Egg Stripes.
The stenciled background is called
Garden Gate Stencil also from Papertrey Ink.
The Easter die is from a new set from
The Greetery called
Let's Have A Word - Easter.

Easter cards for the Grands!

This sweet little card is from a new company to me called
Colorado Craft Company
and is called Happy Easter.
I used Bitty Big Lilac Grace patterned paper
from Papertrey Ink
and Master Layouts from Gina K. Designs.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Just Us Girls #350 - Word Week

This time at Just Us Girls it's Word Week.  Maria is our hostess and she has chosen the word Summer.  Lots of possibilities with this one!

We are also welcoming Carol Mayne as our Guest Designer for the month of July.  Welcome, Carol! We are so happy to have you with us.  Please visit Carol's blog and leave her some love.

Happy Summer Time!  I am using two adorable sets from PTI called Pedal Pusher and Dress Up Doll Basics.  The paper dolls were a no brainer for me as I am a paper doll girl from way back.  The bike set took a while to get because if the stamp set was in stock the dies weren't.  lol  Anyway, I finally was able to buy them.  The background is a PTI stencil called Sun & Surf.

Please visit the Just Us Girls blog to see the beautiful cards the rest of the team and our GD, Carol, have made this week.  I hope you will be inspired and come play along with us.

If you win Chic of the Week in any of our July challenges, you will be in the running to be chosen as our Guest Designer for the month of September.  Good luck!

Just Us Girls #240 - Technique

Sue V. is our hostess this week at Just Us Girls with a fun technique challenge called Kissing.   I have added a quick video for you, if you haven't tried this before.

Here's my card

I used two coordinating stamps sets from PTI called Delightful Dahlia & Delightful Dahlia Additions.  The Delightful Dahlia Additions stamps are solid stamps and they work in a three step process.  Instead of stamping all three separately onto the paper, I inked the first stamp with Memento Cantaloupe ink, then inked the second stamp with Memento Tangelo ink and "kissed" it to the first stamp.  I inked the third stamp with Memento Lady Bug ink and "kissed" it to the first stamp.  I huffed over the stamp to reactivate any dried ink and then stamped.  It gave me this wonderful mottled color.  I used the Delightful Dahlia set which is a line stamp and stamped the top with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I followed the same process to do the leaves using Memento Pistachio & Bamboo Leaves ink.  The patterned paper is from Gina K. Designs Spring Parade pack.  I cut a circle using Lil' Inkers Stitched Circles, stamped the greeting using GKD Black Onyx ink, attached the leaves and popped up the flowers.  I, also, added three MME enamel dots.

Please check out the Just Us Girls page to see the beautiful cards the rest of the team and our GD, Barbara, have created this week using this fun technique.  I hope you will be inspired and want to play along!

Just a reminder:  If you are a winner in any of our May challenges, you will be in the running to be chosen as our Guest Designer for the July challenges.
