I love to sponge. It adds that little something extra that makes a card special. My beautiful flower image is from Power Poppy and it is a digi called Tulips in Hobnail Pitcher. I cut it out using a Stitched Circle die. After I colored the image, I sponged the white background with some Sweet Corn ink. It gave it a warm glow, that really isn't showing up very well in the picture. The background panel is Blue Raspberry card stock and a Cuttlebug EF called Kitchen Weave.
Please visit the Just Us Girls blog to see the beautiful cards the rest of the team and our Guest Designer, Carol Mayne, have made this week. I hope you will be inspired and come play along with us.
If you win Chic of the Week in any of our July challenges, you will be in the running to be chosen as our Guest Designer for the month of September. Good luck!
