The Mod Squad - Flowers

This time at the Mod Squad the challenge is Flowers.  Melanie Muenchinger is the sponsor this week, and the prize is Cardmaker's newest special issue Beautiful Blooms.  What a great prize!

I used one of Melanie's beautiful flower stamps.  This is the Wild Prairie Rose from the Stately Flowers 7 set, available at Gina K. Designs.  The pretty paper is, also, from Gina K. Designs.  Thanks so much for coming by to look.

  1. Such a beautifully colored flower and I adore that sentiment and try to live it each day! Your design and layout is quite fabulous as is your color palette. This is just beautiful, Sharyn!

  2. OK, this one went into my inspiration book. I have a hard time using DP. I love your layout and gorgeous flower.

  3. I should have known that you would pull another beautiful card out of your hat! Lol
This is Splendiferious and a great take on the challenge. The colors are so soft and feminine too. A great card. I am pinning this one.

  4. P.S. Pinning is easy, but could you add a pin button to your blog? Then it would be even easier. Thank You.

  5. Beautiful!! I love everything about it. Your coloring is perfect.
Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers.

  6. Wow, this is stunning. Love how you showcased that flower with the patterned paper. So creative, so GORGEOUS!!! Your coloring is superb, and I really like how you used that touch of white in the center of the flower. Just made it pop!

  7. Wonderful use of DP on this card. The coloring and shading on your flower is so well done. The black really makes the pink and white stand out. So pretty.

  8. Love the papers you chose and that you flipped the square. Makes for interesting composition. Beautiful job coloring the flower and the sponging adds so much to the design.

  9. Sharyn you do the most amazing job when it comes to using dp ! Love the sweet little flower so beautiful and the dp you chose is so gorgeous! You are the designer paper queen! Have a Blessed day!

Thank you for your kind comments. I always appreciate hearing from you.
