The Mod Squad - Flowers

This time at the Mod Squad the challenge is Flowers.  Melanie Muenchinger is the sponsor this week, and the prize is Cardmaker's newest special issue Beautiful Blooms.  What a great prize!

I used one of Melanie's beautiful flower stamps.  This is the Wild Prairie Rose from the Stately Flowers 7 set, available at Gina K. Designs.  The pretty paper is, also, from Gina K. Designs.  Thanks so much for coming by to look.

Recipe:
GKD Stately Flowers 7
GKD Essentials patterned paper
Spellbinders Classic Squares, Classic Ovals & Lacy Ovals
Recollections pearls

This is Splendiferious and a great take on the challenge. The colors are so soft and feminine too. A great card. I am pinning this one.

  7. Wonderful use of DP on this card. The coloring and shading on your flower is so well done. The black really makes the pink and white stand out. So pretty.

  8. Love the papers you chose and that you flipped the square. Makes for interesting composition. Beautiful job coloring the flower and the sponging adds so much to the design.
