Just for fun

I've been working hard trying to get caught up.  This time of year is always so crazy busy.  Here are a couple of cards and some tags that I have been working on.

Last year my friend, Vicki Dutcher made a card using a Christmas tree punch.  I thought it was the prettiest little tree ever and immediately bought it.  This is the tree.  I punched it out of GKD Grass Green card stock.  I used some white glue that I watered down, so I could paint it on the tree and then sprinkled with some of Martha Stewart's Limeade Glitter.  After it dried, I sprayed it with a sealer so the glitter would stay put.  I love the background with the Fair Isle Border stamp from PTI.

The Recipe:
PTI Fair Isle Borders
PTI Christmas Cheer die
MFT Stitched Arch Stax die
Lil' Inkers Stitched Scallop Border - inside
EK Success Christmas Tree Punch
MS Limeade Glitter

Isn't this the cutest die set?  I made this for a sweet lady I know who is going through some health problems.  I was hoping to cheer her up and bring a smile to her face.  The set is from MFT and is called Hug in a Mug.  Everything on this card is from MFT, even the patterned paper.

Here are a few of the tags I have been working on.  I didn't keep track of all of the supplies I used, but isn't it fun to combine your stamps and dies.

  1. Sharon these are such darling creations! I sort of want to hug them, that's how cute they are! The first is so cozy with it's cross-stitched snowflakes and the second just stole my heart. You really know how to work the tiny details - like that vellum "steam". Perfection! I totally pinned that cocoa card and I think you should share it in the Coffee Loving Papercrafters facebook group!
