I just watched a wonderful video by Jennifer McGuire on Vellum Overlay Cards. If you have a chance, take a look. Her cards are beautiful! This is my third attempt at this, and I'm very happy with it. I think, though, I need to look for a heavier weight Vellum to lessen the warping a bit. I used my Altenew set Peony Bouquet. I am loving this set.....such a gorgeous flower!
Please visit the Just Us Girls blog to see the beautiful cards the rest of the team and our GD, Aileen, have made this week. I hope you will come and play along.
If you win Chic of the Week in any of our May challenges, you will be in the running to be chosen as our Guest Designer for the month of July. Good luck!

Just gorgeous. It made me smile as I remembered our little group challenge. You have perfected the technique....this is just stunning. Don't you love the soft look the vellum creates? Great choice of focal too.ReplyDelete

So amazingly magnificent. I love this vellum card. They are so unique and this one is just lovely. You used the perfect flower stamp for this. I made my base card a bit bigger and that helped the warping of the vellum.ReplyDelete
