Happy Birthday

I was watching some videos on different techniques the other day and came across one from Melissa Phillips.  The technique was Impressionistic Florals and it is gorgeous.  Follow the link to see Melissa's beautiful card and watch the video to see how she did it.  Here is one that I did.


Mine doesn't hold a candle to Melissa's, but it was a lot of fun and something that I will be doing again.  She has such a flair for putting things and colors together.

    You did a great job on this card. The coloring is just beautiful and the arrangement is just perfect. I love the soft blue shading around the flowers too. Don't sell yourself short, this is a fantastic card. I hope the epidural is working and you are feeling so much better.

    This is so lovely, Sharyn. It's one of my all-time favorites that you have even done. Your colors are beautiful, you have really rocked that technique. I think I like yours better than the example....lol.
