Sending Holiday Hugs

I saw a post on Facebook last night about a little boy named Jacob Thompson.  He is 9 years old and has cancer.  His mom posted that he is at the end of his journey and they don't expect him to make it to Christmas.  He loves homemade Christmas cards and she was asking for people to send them to him.  Of course, I had to make one.  This absolutely breaks my heart.

I chose this set because the snowmen are hugging.  I think everyone needs a hug now and then.  I hope that they will bring a smile to Jacob's face.  If you would like to send Jacob a card, here is the address:

The Recipe:

Thanks so much for coming by to look.  Your kind comments are always appreciated.

  1. Oh that is heartbreaking, thanks for posting his address. Your card is perfect, love the snowmen and their sweet little mittens. This is great!

  2. How very sad it is to hear about Jacob. And what a lovely thing to do for him. This is a sweet card with the snowmen hugging. I love the mittens and cute hats.

  3. Thanks for the heads up - so sad about that little boy. He is about my youngest grandson's age. Your card is so stinkin' cute and very sweet - Jacob will love it!!

  4. What heart breaking news for a little boy and his parents. Sure hope his cute card gives him a warm fuzzy hug. Thanks for sharing. Hope to,get home to send one off too.

  5. Thank you for making Jacob this awesome card. I live in Maine and one of our local TV stations showed Jacob and his dad and had a wonderful story about his wish for Christmas cards. A family friend or relative of his goes to our church and we have been praying for him.

  6. Your card is adorable and sure to bring a smile to Jacob! What a nice thing to do! Heart breaking for sure!
