Happily Ever After

I was sitting at my craft table and thinking that I always seem to gravitate to the same color combos.  I have all of these beautiful ink colors that I don't use, so today I'm trying to use some new colors.  Here is the second anniversary card:

The three colors I used in this combo are Raspberry Fizz, Dark Indigo and Limeade Ice.  It's very different for me, but I like it.

I started by stamping the Corner Adorner March stamp in the upper left and lower right corners.  I then added one of the Quatrefoil stencils and sponged in opposite corners with Limeade Ice and a little bit of Berry Sorbet.  I die cut the center panel of the Mix & Mat Flourishes set.  The main panel is Dark Indigo and the stripes are Limeade Ice.  Next I used the largest of the Stitched Primitive Hearts in Raspberry Fizz and stitched it with Doodlebug twine and added a sentiment from Pen & Ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by to look.  Your kind comments are always appreciated.

The Recipe:

PTI Corner Adorner March

  1. I don't use my inks either and you have given me a boost to do that. This is a sweet anniversary card with a gorgeous big heart. I love that you are stitching on your cards.
